The Concept of RSS

RSS (which stands for Really Simple Syndication) is a standard way to format documents using XML. It helps users update and find information in the fastest and most convenient way. It does this by putting information into a short, standard data format.

This data is analyzed by special software called News Readers and shown on the user's computer. On a News Reader, users can see the latest news highlights, titles, summaries, and links to read the full stories.
